If you have young builders in your family, the LEGOLAND Discovery Center is a great spot to spend some time. Ideal for children ages 3-10 years old, the center includes 12 attractions and two rides. For the space enthusiasts, you can’t beat Chicago’s Adler Planetarium. With exhibits on the sun, moon, and planets to enjoy, your visit will be full of fun disguised as learning. The crown-jewel of Chicago’s outdoor spaces, Millenium Park has plenty to offer year-round, and it doesn’t have to cost a dime. Enjoy them with your children or with other fathers for a dads’ night out. When the weather allows, kids of all ages love splashing around at Crown Fountain. Bring a frisbee or a ball to toss around and get some exercise. During the winter, you and your kids can try your skills at the McCormick Tribune Ice Rink.
