We have recently partnered with other fatherhood groups to launch the “No Dad Alone” campaign. It all began with a conversation early in 2024, with Matt Schneider, the co-founder of City Dads Group in New York. As we discussed our plans we realized that there was a missed opportunity for collaboration. We also considered involving Fathering Together and the National At-Home Dad Network as we are all committed to helping fathers improve their parenting skills and find joy in fatherhood.
The main focus of our collaboration is to address the issue of isolation experienced by many dads. We believe that as men get older and become more absorbed in work and other responsibilities, they often lose touch with their friends and family. Additionally, the COVID-19 pandemic had a significant impact on social connections, as many events were canceled and never resumed.
We are dedicated to the idea that dads do not have to be alone. Consequently, we aim to provide insights and resources to help dads who are struggling with isolation. Our groups have come together to launch a campaign to share messages and stories of impact and help dads connect with others and feel less alone.
I would like to highlight Fathers Eve, our large-scale gathering held in multiple locations simultaneously on the night before Father’s Day. Our event is all about bringing dads together to connect and celebrate fatherhood. Our focal point is the 8:00 p.m. (local time) count-down toast. We strive to do it simultaneously across all locations and virtually for those unable to join in person. This helps us connect people across the different time zones in the US.

Our shared goal is to foster these connections, inspire relationships, and ensure they continue to grow throughout the year. As we make progress, we would love to hear success stories from you and others in your network. We want to celebrate these victories and opportunities, culminating in a major event at Fathers Eve in 2025, where we can highlight and celebrate the year’s achievements.
Please join me in sharing this blog post with other dads in your network, as well as with your friends and family. Let them know that we are working to alleviate feelings of isolation and ensure that no dad feels alone. Reach out to them, get together, take a selfie, and share it.
